Anonymous employee survey – best result ever
In the middle of June we operate an employee survey in our company. This survey is completely anonymous and shows a mirror to ourselves. This year it was very exiting in cause of Corona pandemic.

It turns out that the supply chain has slowed down due to Corona, which can also be felt at Merten. But we are very surprised by urgent individual part orders.

The Vienna Autoshow is the largest branch fair in Austria. KR Peter Merten and Ing. Peter Merten paid a spontaneous visit to the TUW Racing team on the press day.
MERTEN optimizes delivery and performance
A comprehensive project is currently in progress to optimize further our delivery dates. Together with our customers and suppliers, the external business processes are analysed and systematically improved. We also look at our internal performance processes in detail and develop appropriate optimization activities. For this reason, hall areas are partially relocated or rearranged in an optimized form.

Merten is awarded state recognition
After about 9 months of strict evaluation by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the state award of the Republic of Austria was awarded on 12.11.2019 to Claudia and Ing. Peter Merten, by presence of Gabriele and KR Peter Merten.
Ing. Andreas Bodenmüller reinforces our Precision Technology
Sice September 2, 2019, Mr. Andreas Bodenmüller has taken up his new role as operations manager of Precision Technology at Peter Merten GmbH. Mr. Bodenmüller´s experience bases on his extensive qualification on decades, as operations manager as well as on a comprehensive management practice.
Merten takes over CNC grinding shop from the company Strohschneider
Until recently, the two brothers Franz and Manfred Strohschneider operated an exclusive CNC grinding shop in Kottingbrunn with the core competences cylindrical grinding, jig grinding, flat and profile grinding.
Family Party in the Merten-Company
After our last year’s family party had a very large popularity, this was again hosted by popular request in this year. With this event, the Merten family would like to thank all employees for their tireless efforts. These thanks goes especially to the members of our workforce, who had to give up their loved ones at times due to required additional services or foreign assignments.
