New Location Burgenland
The new warehouse is ready for equipment!
We are installing new shelves, acquired a fork lift stacker with loading capacity of 7.5 tons and are finishing off outdoor installations. As scheduled, the project “New Location Burgenland” will be finished in autumn.

Opening of an Assembly of Precision Engineering
More and more customers access our expertise for assemblies. That is why we decided to expand our assembly of precision engineering by 9 members of staff. This assembly is remarkable for its special room for gluing with working space for 3 members of staff. In this room for gluing, humidity and temperature are measured and adjusted to the exacting standard of quality or rather the rules for gluing.

Warehouse Groundbreaking Ceremony
The company MERTEN is constantly extending and has no production areas left at the location in Vienna. Therefore, the warehouse area is moved to Burgenland (40 minutes by car from Vienna). Consequently, the assembly areas in Vienna can be expanded. In 2006, we acquired a plot of 9.705m2 in Weiden am See. There, we will build a warehouse of 1.334m2. On May 15, 2013, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on the plot in presence of Mayor Wilhelm Schwartz, authorities, neighbors and architects.
New Investment in Machining Center
We needed to fund a 3-axis machining center, because the utilization of the other machines was too high. For being able to still guarantee delivery reliability to our customers, our partner DMG/Mori Seiki Austria GmbH delivered us at short notice a stock machine NVX 5100. Because of the prompt help of our supplier, we managed to defuse the strained situation of our delivery dates.
