For an economic production of your components, we needed to fund a new cycle-controlled lathe. The lathe, a Kern CD 402 of a German producer, has a turning diameter of 400mm and a turning length of 1000mm with a spindle opening of 64mm. The machine is equipped with an automatic tool change with up to 8 driven milling and drilling units.

Merten funded a 5-axis-simultaneous milling center, NMV 5000DCG by Mori Seiki. This milling center is remarkable for its extremely high repetition accuracy. Furthermore, it is equipped with a very dynamic 5-axis-simulatneous machining, which makes it able to cut components of a diameter of 700mm and a height of 500mm.
