Joining the family-owned company as a trainee in 1962, I learned the basics of our trade and successfully passed my journeyman’s exam in 1966.
Only four years later, I was received the title of master craftsman.
Following that, I focused on my further development in the company. First and foremost, I took part in the training and further education of our apprentices and skilled workers.
In 1983, my parents passed the company on to me as the sole proprietorship. I continued to run it together with my wife from 1984 onwards. Our son Peter has supported us since 1989.
In 1990, our company became a Ges.m.b.H.
In 1995, we founded our mechanical engineering company, where I am still working as managing director today.
That same year, I took up my activities in the Viennese Mechatronics Guild. I have been sharing my knowledge of the industry as Guild Master since 2005 there.
