PETER MERTEN GES.M.B.H. RECEIVES AWARD FROM THE VIENNESE GUILD

In the festival hall of the Vienna Technical Museum, the Peter Merten Ges.m.b.H. was awarded for their 25 year membership of the Viennese Mechatronics Guild by Mrs. Mag. (FH) Maria SMODICS-NEUMANN, Head of the Trade Divsion at the Mechatronics Guild.

25 years ago, in 1983, after the company transition to Mr. KommR Peter Merten sen., the family enterprise, which was founded in 1922 was transformed from a sole proprietorship into a limited company (Ges.m.b.H.).  At the same time, Mr. KommR Peter Merten and his wife Mrs. Prok. Gabriele Merten started planning a new company building in the 22nd district of Vienna. The move into the completed building took place in 1991.

Already a quarter of a century has passed since the foundation of the limited company. During this period the Peter Merten Ges.m.b.H. became well established for regional and trans-regional industrial companies and the number of employees has increased sevenfold.
