MERTEN SUPPORTS THE WINNING TEAM OF THE HTL RENNWEG INNOVATION DAY 2018
The graduating classes of the HTL Rennweg presented their innovative projects on the „Innovation Day“ 2018 and we supported the incredible diploma thesis by Christoph Amon, Christian Janßen, Florian Kristof and David Stadlmann.
Are not we all the same? Mostly we take care of all family members, friends, colleagues and needy peopole. However, we should not forget ourselves! Often we even don’t manage to drink enough.
Since this paper includes 3 Merten topics, namely innovation, man and precision, our company was happy to support this diploma thesis.
We are particularly pleased that the project „Smart Cup“, as one of about 35 participants, was chosen as the winner in a project competition in the course of the „Innovation Day“ by an expert jury of Industry and Economy.
The idea for „Smart Cup“ came from the daily experience that many people forget to drink enough during the day. This concerns both, persons who are intensively concentrated on their tasks during the day (school, work), as well as older people who either forget to drink enough or for whom drinking is too annoying. Such dehaydration can lead to headaches or worse after-effects.
The aim of „Smart Cup“ is to support the nursing staff in nursing and care centers in order not only to analyze the drinking habits of the patients, but also to document and manage these data via App on the smartphone.
MERTEN is thrilled by Christoph Amon, Christian Janßen, Florian Kristof and David Stadlmann and we wish them all the best for their professional career.
