CONTINUOUS APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT MERTEN FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS!
On the 20th September 1993 Peter MERTEN Ges.m.b.H. has again started the apprenticeship training after a short break.
We are very pleased to train 4 to 7 apprentices at our company at the same time every year.
On the 1st September 2014 the time had come again: A metalwork technician/machining technician has started his apprenticeship at Merten and we are glad that the trainer is full of praise for the young man.
We like to inform you that we already accept applications of girls and boys for the 2015 training year.
Job description: Metalwork technician/machining technician
Machining technicians produce metal and plastic components by using machining respectively metal cutting working methods. These include, e.g. drilling, turning, milling, filing, grinding or sawing. The machining technicians machine workpieces with convential machines or operate computer-controlled (CNC) machines. They plan work steps, choose the materials and check the quality of the finished parts. They work in industrial companies or business enterprises together with fellow technicians and other professionals and support personnel.
