Behind today’s web presses, which often deliver signatures with a pagination of 32p-64p, the horizontal log building principle has proven to have several advantages, especially in the area of log building. Our fully automated horizontal SH/700-IG will perfectly handle the output of a modern high-speed, high-volume press, building nice, hanger-free logs and delivering them onto a delivery table for further palletizing. Products in a log are nicely compressed and securely strapped between two end boards. The signatures in a log are evenly flat, protected from damage and dirt, and result in significantly higher productivity in the bindery. Smart software, intelligent automation features and a comprehensive touch screen make the SH/700-IG very easy to operate. This becomes even more important in a multi-line operation where one operator can operate two SH/700-IG log stackers side by side.
