The N-VM/D turning module offers the option of rotating the products by 180° in order to position the personalisation either on the cover or on the reverse side. The turning module is connected to a vacuum belt (level 1) that conveys products not to be turned straight ahead or serves as a base for an external labelling head.
As the central unit of the VarioMailer, the inkjet module IN-VM/D is suitable for all manufacturers (inkjet manufacturers) as a highly flexible conveyor base for products with different thicknesses. The module core is the dynamic product thickness adjustment “HDA” (high dynamic adjuster).
The new technology makes it possible to position the products with an accuracy of up to 0.5 mm in conjunction with high-performance inkjet systems. This is also possible for print products with different thicknesses that are delivered in quick succession.
The system is designed to allow variation of the address field position, providing enough space for a downstream UV-LED dryer module. The products are guided precisely to the left and right of the address field with upper and lower belts in the area of the inkjet head. The product thickness compensation is performed by the lower belts.
The feeding module IN-VM/C30 converts the quickly arriving single products into a continuous feed flow. A high-resolution CTS (copy-tracking system) ensures that the personalised products are assigned to the correct postcode.
The IN-VM/E stacking module is a compensating stacker that fully integrated into the VarioMailer. It can turn products with different thicknesses into stable, cross-laid packages.
This machine also has a CTS (copy-tracking system) to ensure correct assignment. The machine can be optionally equipped with a camera system as well.
