TOP Specialists
Achieving these objectives involves MERTEN TOP TRAINERS. However, it should not be underestimated that this must be coordinated and supported by a senior training commissioner.
The symbiosis of down-to-earth craftmanship and the networked digital world doesn’t make it easier, of course. We noted that our apprentices often have a better and, above all, faster perception and understanding of digital manufacturing processes than our older specialists. Merten takes advantage of this, as our trainers get better through the young in the digital world and, conversely, the trainers teach the young people practical experience in the job description of „machine and production technicians“. We know that this training method at eye level between trainers and young people has the result that Merten is even better able to cope with constant customer requirements.
Since apprenticeship training has always been a top priority for us, we are pleased to announce that Mr. Rudolf Szüts – after 14 years at the Merten company – has taken over the role of training officer from Mr. Ing. Peter Merten.
Mr. Ing. Peter Merten:
The apprenticeship training has always been a matter close to my heart. It is therefore a good feeling when this is passed on to a person whom I trust 100 percent, not only personally but also professionally. I was also very impressed by the new training concept presented by Mr. Szüts. I wish Mr. Szüts and his team all the best, but above all our youth, that they will not only become TOP SPECIALISTS for our industry, but maybe in 10 years will say: „It was a cool, great time at Merten.“
